The Law of Connection

The Law of Connection teaches us that our Past, Present and Future are all connected. Just recently I celebrated my college graduation, started preparing for the holidays, and have spent some time in quiet reflection as I plan for the New Year. All this “soul searching” has got me thinking quite a bit about where I am now, how far I’ve come and how wildly expansive it’s all been along the way!

No by now I don’t have it all figured out but my deep personal fulfillment today inspired me to share some insight on a couple things I did in my Past that have made my Present “enlightened” and set me up for an epic Future…

Heal

I entered my twenties healing from a very unhealthy lifestyle in my adolescence. My sobriety was a time of awakening and the foundation of building my self-esteem and discovering who I truly was. It was a decision that totally redirected my path, changed my circle, forced me to face my demons and fall in love with my light.

The process of defeating my own darkness has led me closer to my life’s purpose and given me the divine wisdom to awaken others. Today I still enjoy a drink in moderation and enjoy a night out on occasion but the scenery has definitely changed!

Wanderlust

There is no better time then NOW to plan your next adventure! I’ve spontaneously packed my car and headed out on road trips across the states, traveled solo up and down the East coast, spent weekends in Miami and even drove out of the country to Mexico. I’ve flown to exotic locations, seen an erupting volcano in Costa Rica, climbed a waterfall, visited Bob Marley’s grave in Jamaica and walked the 7 mile beach and hung with the locals in Grand Cayman (just to name a few!).

We gain a lot of commitment as we age and there’s so much to see and do. Traveling to places outside our comfort zone allows us to truly immerse ourselves in other cultures, question what we believe, reevaluate our priorities and most importantly for me was learning to value experience over possessions.

Release

“When you forgive you don’t change the past, you change the future. “Entering into adulthood with a lot of unresolved issues from childhood, combatting my own guilty feelings and holding grudges towards those who hurt me deeply took up a lot of energy and held me back for years. Fast-forward to today and my Forgiveness game is strong! Keeping our emotions wrapped up in unresolved resentment and guilt weakens our energy and blocks good karma from manifesting in our life. Forgiveness may be one of the hardest things for us to do but it’s one of the most important for our souls advancement.

Here is a “Hawaiian Method to Forgiveness” I would love to share with you to help to raise your energy and attract better experiences in the New Year!

Hooponopono Technique:

~ Find a quite place.

~ Think of the situation that needs to be healed.

~ Say a prayer stating what you want to occur.

~ Begin to tap on your thymus gland (below the throat, above the heart)

~ State the mantra:

“I love you. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you for the Lesson. We are free.”
